OVOLUX™ is a branded, bioactive eggshell membrane ingredient developed to support healthy skin, hair and nails from within. It concentrates key structural and beauty nutrients naturally present in the thin membrane lining the eggshell, including multiple types of collagen (I, V, X and others), elastin, hyaluronic acid, glycosaminoglycans, keratin, sulfur-bearing amino acids, and trace minerals such as calcium.
In a 12-week, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study in adults aged 35–66, a daily dose of eggshell membrane in OVOLUX™ (400 mg capsule) significantly improved objective measures of skin firmness, elasticity, “bounce-back” (viscoelasticity) and hydration at the crow’s-feet area, as well as self-rated skin appearance, texture and overall skin health.
The same study reported significant improvements in self-reported hair texture, hair thickness and growth, and, in women, fingernail strength and growth over 12 weeks, highlighting OVOLUX ™ as the next generation of beauty from within ingredients.

OVOLUX™ is produced from upcycled eggshells sourced from USDA-inspected eggs, turning what would otherwise be a food-industry by-product into a value-added beauty and wellness ingredient.
The eggshell membrane is gently separated from the shell using a patented mechanical process that relies on heat and agitation, without harsh chemical hydrolysis, helping preserve the native profile and bioactivity of its collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans and other delicate proteins. This approach contrasts with more aggressive chemical treatments, which have been shown to markedly reduce eggshell membrane bioactivity, and produces a cleaner, more naturally derived ingredient. OVOLUX™ is manufactured, studied and quality-controlled in the United States in a cGMP-certified facility. It is an ovo-vegetarian-friendly source of collagen.
